Every pregnancy is different, and Dr Morris believes every mum should receive personalised care. You’ll get a personalised management plan based on your health history, unique preferences and choice of delivery.

Pregnancy complications

Not every pregnancy goes to plan. Dr Morris has extensive experience with complications in all stages of pregnancy. This includes bleeding in early pregnancy, recurrent miscarriages, high blood pressure, gestational diabetes, multiple pregnancies and placenta praevia. Dr Morris will tailor your management plan to give you the right support at the right time, resulting in a healthy mother and baby.

Preconception counselling

Dr Morris can review specific health concerns based on your family history to improve the chance of conception and a safe pregnancy.

Do I need a referral?

Yes, your GP or another specialist will provide you with a referral to see Dr Morris.

What should I bring for my first appointment?

Please bring your referral, Medicare card, health fund details, any recent pathology tests and ultrasound scans, a list of any known allergies and current medications, plus details about any previous pregnancies. Please also bring copies of relevant correspondence from other health professionals.

How often will Dr Morris see me?

Dr Morris will adjust the timing of visits to suit your individual circumstances. As a general rule, you will have appointments every 4-6 weeks up until 28 weeks gestation, every third week until 34 weeks, fortnightly until 38 weeks and weekly thereafter until delivery. If necessary, you will be seen more frequently.
